It's not about why you run, it's about who you run with.
THE RUN SQUAD - Relay for HOPE
RUNNERS HIT THE PAVEMENT TO SHOW THANKS TO FRONTLINE WORKERS
The Run Squad community rallied together in a two day road relay to raise money for the frontline medical staff at The Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick and St Vincent’s Hospital Darlinghurst.

Two runners from THE RUN SQUAD, Rachelle McCue and Belinda Lockwood are frontline nursing staff working selflessly and putting themselves in the firing line to save the lives of strangers in the community.

As a tribute to Belinda, Rachelle and their colleague's work, 90+ runners from the Run Squad toook to the roads of Sydney on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th of May running designated legs in small groups in a continuous relay that covered areas as far reaching as the City, Northern and Eastern Beaches, Western Suburbs, La Perouse, the Eastern Suburbs, and the Inner West, crossing the Sydney Harbour and Anzac Bridges and passing some of Sydney's well-known iconic landmarks.

Each participant made a donation to the frontline medical staff of the Sydney Children's Hospital and St Vincent's Darlinghurst and raised further donations through sponsorship.
These donations were presented to Rachelle and Belinda at the relay finish in Centennial Park by Federal Labor MP Matt Thistlethwaite. Donations so far are in excess of $18,000. You can further donate to this very worthy cause through the links below.
